Public Meeting Minutes

Occasionally, Friends are moved by the Spirit to express views regarding social issues that touch upon our deepest testimonies of faith and ethics.  This practice began in the earliest period of Quaker history in the Seventeenth Century. Each statement, called a Minute, arises from a sense of spiritual unity in our Meeting for Worship, regarding matters of  peace and social justice.   Links to Swannanoa Valley Friends’ Minutes are provided below.
