Quakers and War Taxes; we will share our experiences with resisting support for our government’s war-making expenditures, led by Bob and Anne Welsh.
Thursday, March 23:
workshop on dementia facts and assistance, led by staff trainers from Dementia-Friendly WNC, from 9 AM to 11 AM; representatives from area churches may also attend.
Friday, March 24, 7PM:
Evie Hultberg will facilitate the showing of a moving film regarding the oppressive experience of Indian Boarding Schools, entitled “Our spirits do not speak English”, partly in preparation for the workshop on April 22, described below;
Sundays, March 26, April 9, April 16:
three aspects of the “Praxis (or practice) of Faith,” organized and facilitated by Dan Snyder; explore how to live faithfully in challenging times, through
- effectively planning non-violent campaigns,
- listening and following the Inner Guide, and
- living and acting with head and heart.
