Alan shared news of his illness for which he will be treated over the coming weeks; Crayton reported that Sherrie has received a diagnosis that will require intensive treatment this week at the Duke University Medical Center. Please hold these Friends in the Light.
At the Forum time, the new director of the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry, Cheryl Wilson, discussed current and planned activities of the charitable organization in Black Mountain and nearby towns. Food, home heating, and shelter for low-income families are among its central ministries. Friend Ames is our Meeting’s representative to SVCM; you can ask him about ways you can support the organization.
