Sacred Circle Dance

On October 28, Friend Maggie Moon O’Neill will guide “teens and adults of all genders” in the simple steps of the Sacred Circle Dance at the Meetinghouse in Black Mountain.

Originating in Scotland, and much-practiced in Europe, the dancing consists of simple, repetitive steps set to a variety of world music.  Focus on the steps may lead the dancer to still the brain and follow the flow.  Maggie suggests that folks will “experience feelings of peace and deep relaxation as a result of the dances.”

A donation of $8 is suggested, with all proceeds going to the benefit of Right Sharing of World Resources, that supports grass-roots income-generating projects in developing countries (http://www.rswr.org/).

You may contact Maggie for more information at oneill.maggie9@gmail.com.
