Dolph has placed a box in the foyer for the Homeward Bound items to assist homeless. Watch the YOUTUBE on Homeward Bound!

Maggie Anderson has applied for the UNC School of the Arts in Winston Salem. She would attend classes with college students on a college campus, taking high school classes…It will be a week before she’ll know if she has been accepted. Hold her and her family in the Light! (She auditioned last friday on the Violin. This is a program for middle school and high school aged students.

This Friday we will watch a movie at 6:30. It was part of the Vancouver International film festival and is an award winning film. Has great gospel music and parallels Martin Luther King’s work and the situation in Israel Palestine. Beth has the movie for us

Next week’s forum is Mel on Quaker History and Tradition on John Woolman. It will combine Quaker Spirituality and 18th century social action. Woodman is sometimes called the “Quaker Saint.”

Our visitor is available to share what she knows about the Monte Verde Friends School in Costa Rica

Bradley will sing on 3-6 in a concert at 3 pm at St Matthias Episcopal Church. It will be vocal and piano.

Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS) forms are due by March 15. Ask Sheila Ripoley. This is for a year of service living together in service after college. Info is available on the library table

James talked to our older kids at Chifforobe about the history of some of the Bible stories, including Genesis.

Save the date 3-2 for a great play that will be here for only one night. (Beth Keiser’s announcement…)
