If you are seeking a new spiritual home, or if you have visited our Meetinghouse and wish to learn more, you are welcome to explore the web pages of the Swannanoa Valley Friends Meeting.  For Meeting members and attenders, you will find these pages contain public announcements and records of our activity.

The Society of Friends, or Quakers, is founded upon the simple practice of silent waiting on the Spirit in a diverse community of seekers, unbound by creed, ritual, or ministerial hierarchy.  Messages from the Spirit have led Quakers to witness for social justice, peace, and earthcare.

Meetings for Worship gather at 137 Center Avenue, Black Mountain, on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, and on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
